Service Manual Delivery Procedure
When payment is completed through our payment processor (PayPal), you will be automatically redirected back to our site and logged in (you may have to click “Return to Service-Manual.pro”), as well as presented with your download link – no waiting for your download information email. You will also receive a download information email from us if you wish to download from another computer. This email is automatically sent by our server immediately upon confirmation of payment – typically this occurs within 1 minute of payment. If, for some reason, you can not access that email account to receive the email from us, or the Receipt email has not arrived within 1 hour, please Contact Us and we will resend the Receipt email. Be sure to also check your spam / bulk mail folder within your email program for the download information email, as sometimes our emails are incorrectly marked as spam. If payment is made using eCheck, your order will still have to be manually processed – the funds do not actually clear for a few days.
What payment processors do you use?
Currently, we only have PayPal integrated into the site, which allows for automatic downloads once payment is received. Through PayPal, we accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and eChecks.
In what format are the manuals?
All service manuals are in Adobe Acrobat file format (unless otherwise noted), which is usually already installed on most computers. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, check with Adobe for a free download of Adobe Acrobat Reader, which will allow you to view the files. Also, when more than one manual is included in the item, the files may be zipped (compressed / .zip). Once they are downloaded to your computer, they can be unzipped using the built in zip utility included in your computer or other device. A free zip utility is available from 7-zip (does not contain spyware).
Using your search engine, I can’t seem to find what I am looking for.
The best way to locate your manual is to enter the first few characters of the model number (you may also include the manufacturers name to narrow down the results). This is the best method to locate your manual. If you want to enter the complete model number, enter exactly as listed on the machine, but use a blank space for any non-alphanumeric characters.
Do I need to sign up for an account with www.service-manual.pro to order a manual?
No account signup is required to order a manual, but you will need to provide an email address to complete an order. If you wish to view previous orders and/or get a new download link, you will need to sign up for an account using the Primary email address from your PayPal account, or the email address used for purchase if you don’t have a PayPal account.
Is your checkout system secure?
In the process of ordering a manual, you will click on the Checkout button, which will take you to our Checkout page. After confirming your cart contents, click on the PayPal button – a PayPal window will open through which your payment info is entered and processed. None of your payment information (ie. credit card or bank account information) is seen by www.service-manual.pro or is ever stored by www.service-manual.pro on our server.
Do I need a PayPal account to order a manual?
No, a PayPal account is not required – you will see the following on the PayPal checkout page: “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”, where your credit card information can be entered.
I live in a country where PayPal is not offered. How can I order a manual?
Contact Us with the country where your payment will be coming from and we will do our best to accommodate you.
How long / how many times can I download the file(s) I have purchased?
You have 10 days / 10 downloads of the file(s) before the link in your payment confirmation email will expire. If you wish to download again in the future, log into My Account on our site, and from there you can access a new download link for all of your purchases from us.
